Acceptable Use Policy
This policy sets out what the Utility Log workspace may and may not be used for. It is specific to this tool: a record-keeping and quote-prep aid for households, not a trade or advisory service.
01Permitted use
- —Logging what you observe in your home to keep an organised maintenance record.
- —Preparing questions and a photo checklist to brief a licensed professional.
- —Building a household history of notes, quotes, and follow-ups.
02You must not use the tool to
- —Generate operating or repair steps for gas, electrical, structural, roofing, or pressurised systems.
- —Treat any output as a safety certificate, inspection report, insurance claim, construction plan, or emergency service.
- —Present generated text as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice.
- —Attempt work yourself that requires a licensed and insured professional.
03Your responsibility
You must contact a local licensed professional to confirm the actual problem and how to handle it. If there is any immediate danger, stop and contact the appropriate emergency service. You are responsible for how you use the outputs.
04Content and conduct
- —Do not submit other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
- —Do not upload sensitive credentials, payment card numbers, or passwords.
- —Do not use the service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- —Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
05Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate access for breaches of this policy. Where possible we will give notice, but we may act immediately to protect users or the service.
